How to Turn an Image into an AI Video
Use Kinevello’s image-to-video workflow by adding your photo to the video studio and describing how the subject and camera should move. Your photo guides the appearance of the scene. The selected model determines the image limit, available durations, resolution and exact credit cost.
From still image to short video
- Open the image-to-video studio and choose an available video model.
- Add a clear image you own or have permission to use. A product shot, landscape or consenting adult portrait can act as visual reference.
- Describe one main action and one camera movement. Tell the model which features should stay consistent, such as the product shape, clothing or background.
- Choose an offered duration, resolution and aspect ratio. Check any available sound settings, then review the exact credits.
- Generate and inspect faces, hands, product details and motion continuity. Download completed files from your account within 15 days.
A prompt you can adapt
A ceramic cup sits beside a window in soft morning light. Keep the cup’s shape and blue glaze consistent with the reference. A thin trail of steam rises while the camera slowly pushes forward. Calm movement, stable framing, no added text.
Replace the subject and action with your own. A prompt works better as a clear shot brief than as a long list of conflicting effects. For portraits, request small natural movements before attempting a complex multi-action scene. For products, inspect labels and geometry in the output; generative video can distort them.
Image requirements and reference limits
Upload PNG, JPG or WebP under 30 MiB per file. Each side must measure 301–5,999 pixels, and the aspect ratio must be 0.4–2.5. The studio shows the current image count limit for your selected model. Adding more references is not automatically better: conflicting poses, lighting or identities can make the intended result harder to follow.
The output aspect ratio is a separate choice from the source image ratio. Leave room around the subject when converting a landscape photo into a vertical video. The result is newly generated footage, not a guaranteed camera move over an unchanged still image.
