KINEVELLO / PRACTICAL GUIDE

Seedance 2.0, Mini, Fast or 2.5: Which Should I Choose?

Choose Seedance 2.0 Mini when your first priority is the lowest 480p credit quote among Kinevello’s current Seedance options. Seedance 2.0 is the Hotel Lobby default; Fast and 2.5 offer other settings and prices. Choose by the settings and budget shown in the studio, rather than assuming a model name guarantees better results.

Compare the same settings first

A useful model comparison holds duration, resolution and aspect ratio constant. Comparing a five-second Mini draft with a higher-resolution 15-second render mixes several variables. The table below uses the same 480p quality and the current Kinevello credit schedule; it is a cost comparison, not an independent quality or speed benchmark.

Match the choice to your workflow

  1. Seedance 2.0 Mini: start here for lower-credit experiments with composition and short motion prompts at 480p or 720p. It costs 6 credits for the current 15-second, 480p Hotel Lobby setting.
  2. Seedance 2.0: the default for the Hotel Lobby template, with 480p, 720p and 1080p currently available.
  3. Seedance 2.0 Fast: compare its offered 480p and 720p combinations and credit quote against the other editions. The edition name alone is not a measured completion-time promise.
  4. Seedance 2.5: consider the longer durations available in the general studio and the available settings for animating photos. Hotel Lobby remains a 15-second template with this model.

A practical comparison exercise

Write one short prompt, keep the same reference images and use the same aspect ratio. Run a small number of deliberate trials within your budget. Compare subject consistency, motion continuity, framing and whether the requested action is visible. Choose the model for the output you need, rather than selecting solely by the model version.

Text prompts and image references use the same studio. Only offered combinations can be submitted. The model directory gives an overview; the live model selector is the place to check available settings. Sound controls vary by model and workflow, so check them rather than assuming every render has the same sound options.

When the template is the better starting point

Use Hotel Lobby for a two-person performance with scene selection, choreographed direction and a built-in audio track. Use the ordinary studio for a custom subject, your own prompt and an offered duration. Changing the selected template model does not turn it into a custom-song uploader or an exact motion-copy tool.

Questions before you create

Is Mini the cheapest video model on every setting?

Mini has the lowest quote in the 480p comparisons shown here. Different resolutions and durations can change the comparison, and unavailable combinations cannot be selected. Always compare the same offered settings.

Does Fast guarantee a shorter wait?

No completion-time guarantee is published here. Waiting times vary with demand and the video you create.

Where can I use these credits?
